Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an R&D embedded software engineer for a large agriculture client. This individual will be responsible for software development for any custom machine required of them including but not limited to lab equipment, field equipment, and costal devices. The team is working together to integrate additonal technologies Nvidia Jettson and Gstreamer. This person will be working most often with the mechanical team spending 80% of their time developing embedded software solutions with Python and C++, and 20% of their time being engaged for other custom solutions. Their main objective will be working with fish eye camera device (LiDAR) images and mapping them to GPS signals by predicting raw data and mapping it to GPS locations. This individual will be compensated at a rate starting at $48/HR.
