Role Description
Engineer (Electrical Distribution Control Centre) (Shiftwork)
Responsibilities
- Manage the operation of the Distribution Control Centre (DCC)
- Carry out remote operation of High Tension (HT) networks
- Attend to HT network incidents
- Handle difficult customers and complaints
- Ensure all event reports in the system are signed off promptly
- Ensure the efficient management of the Fire Alarm Monitoring Station (DECAM) at DCC
- Prepare monthly and weekly reports for submission to management
- Prepare incident reports on HT outages and voltage dip for submission to regulator
- Assist in managing system upgrading for DCC and Electricity Service Centre (ESC)
- Assist in OHSAS certification for Distribution Control & Customer Services (DCCS)
- Assist in ISO certification ISO 9001:2015
