Engineer II, Hydrotechnical

Employer Name: Water Security Agency Moose Jaw Role Summary We are looking for an experienced Engineer II, Hydrotechnical to join our collaborative team and provide engineering support across the investigation, risk assessment, operation, maintenance, monitoring and evaluation, design, construction, and rehabilitation of water management infrastructure assets.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to other engineers within the discipline.

Review and support the work of junior employees.

Lead the evaluation of moderately to highly complex hydrotechnical monitoring data, along with required office and field activities, to assess the performance, condition, and safety of WSAs hydraulic structures, including conducting on-site inspections of hydraulic components.

Contribute to hydrotechnical database activities that support technical monitoring.

Participate in and/or undertake requisite hydrotechnical analyses.
