Engineer / Senior Engineer -Procurement

Responsible for procurement of direct materials - Actuators, Pumps, Motors, Positioners, Hydraulic Power packs, Instrumentation controls, Tubing & Fittings, Seal & Gaskets, Springs including OEM parts, coordinate with Engineering and Manufacturing team as necessary. Responsible for delivery of parts on time as per specifications at right cost. Support in Pre-order costing, Intercompany & Indirect procurements. Key Responsibilities Key supplier account management to drive performance. Driving SCM metric Supplier OTD performances & Control of variances, Establishing supplier quality and ensuring First time right parts Review manufacturing & ship plan with supplier to ensure compliance to committed ship date. Identify gaps and implement actions to mitigate risks in order fulfilment. Initiate RFQs to suppliers for competitive bids.
