Engineer-Third Class

Amentum is seeking a licensed and skilled **Engineer – 3rd Class** to support facility operations and mechanical system maintenance in the Washington, DC area. This position is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of complex building systems, including boilers, HVAC equipment, mechanical systems, and electrical components.

The Engineer – 3rd Class must possess strong troubleshooting skills, extensive knowledge of safety regulations, and the ability to work independently while supporting and guiding junior engineering staff. This role requires a high degree of technical expertise and is considered a senior-level stationary engineering position within the facility.
