Engineer Trainee

Special Project Summary Reporting to the SVP of Engineering, the Engineering Student will be focused on a building a database repository of pre-approved, Konstant-engineered designs of steel storage rack structures with filtered search functionality. The database will be largely populated using past design specifications of components and connections in Excel format that fall within a pre-defined framework of technical parameters. Where gaps in existing design scenarios are identified, Konstant Engineering will assist in proving the necessary design specifications to build a robust matrix of storage rack bay configurations and loading conditions.

The Engineering Student will be provided the necessary training on Konstant’s product offering, industry nomenclature, and fundamentals of structural analysis and design of steel storage rack systems comprised of cold-formed and hot-rolled sections to demonstrate compliance with current applicable standards and building codes.
