Role Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for four Apprentice Engineers to join our team, operating on a day shift. 
Successful candidates will complete a structured rotation across four key departments, gaining broad experience and developing core engineering skills throughout the programme.
Product Engineering 
Process Engineering 
Layout
Toolroom 
Most of the apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work: 
Develop a broad technical understanding of the manufacturing processes at Howmet
Learn ways of using data to troubleshoot and optimise processes
Help identify manufacturing issues and how to resolve them
Produce customer facing reports detailing conformance to engineered drawings and models
Develop an understanding of tools used in the industry and basic toolmaking skills to help maintain them
