Engineering Student - Software - Fall 2026

Software Engineering Student Internship MDA Space, a global leader in space technology, is looking for a motivated and talented student to join our Software Engineering department at our Montreal office. This is a 4‑month internship, with a possible extension to 8 months, starting September 2026.

In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate with a team responsible for designing electronic flight and test systems. They will participate in software life cycle stages such as code verification and validation, integration, and testing.

Responsibilities

Implement automation test software on Windows for satellite electronics testing.

Write test cases from requirements.

Work in an agile development environment.

Participate in embedded development.
