Estimator Engineer, Intermediate

Our team in Brazil is growing; we are currently recruiting for a Estimator Engineer, Intermediate to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the Belo Horizonte office.

About The Role

• Responsible for preparing investment estimates (CapEx), operational costs (OpEx), and sustaining costs.
• Managing quotations and analyzing commercial proposals; developing unit price compositions.
• Serving as the interface with suppliers and other disciplines.

About You

• Experience in preparing CAPEX/OPEX for large‑scale projects in mining, metallurgy, and infrastructure.
• Experience in preparing budgets for civil and assembly services.
• Analysis and preparation of BDI (Budget Difference Indicator).
• Knowledge of taxation.
• Preparation of unit price compositions (UPCs), including definition of contingency, escalation, and allowances for uncertainties.
