Role Description

Job Overview and Responsibilities:
Field Laboratory Technician

Location: Fort McMurray, AB

Contract, Full Time: 1 Year Contract (with potential 1 year extension)

Successful candidate will be result oriented to produce high quality defensible analytical data, safely and on time by following applicable Standard Operating Procedures. Gain full knowledge with respect to field sampling, performing analytical procedures and related quality control techniques to perform duties proficiently.
Primary responsibilities include the following (but are not limited to):
Collection of pipeline samples in the field, perform sample preparation and laboratory analysis according to approved Standard Operating Procedures and in concert with safety regulations; includes performing all relevant Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities required by the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
