Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer – Automation – International – Home Based - Permanent – £50k base salary + overseas uplift + overtime (£70-75k OTE)
Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to support the commissioning, servicing and maintenance of automated systems across Europe and beyond.
The successful Field Service Engineer will be a hands-on, versatile engineer with a blend of electrical, controls and mechanical skills rather than a pure controls specialist.
Key aspects of the Field Service Engineer role include –
* Electrical and PLC commissioning using Siemens PLCs
* Ideally have knowledge of conveyors, material handing or baggage handling equipment
* PLC fault-finding on live systems (rather than full software development)
* Planned service and maintenance visits to existing sites
* Minor mechanical works including tracking belts, conveyor repairs, replacing brackets etc.
