Financial Controller

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our Finance team at Octopus Energy Services. This role reports to the CFO and will be central to the day‑to‑day financial operations, including the preparation of financial reports, month‑end processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly divisional and consolidated management accounts; liaise with finance representatives to finalize results and report variances.
• Own the annual audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors, and prepare statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS.
• Ensure all reporting is compliant with relevant accounting standards and remain up‑to‑date with new reporting standards that may impact the company.
