Flight Control Engineer (Missile Startup by IIT founders)

Comet Aerospace is developing surface to surface and surface to air missiles. We are starting full RnD work in furthering the development of our missile. We need an embedded systems or flight software engineer for the same.

Below is the overall work plan -

Background: We have already conducted an unguided missile launch test with a range of 2 KM. In this unguided test, we had limited control on where our missile would land once launched.

As next steps, we want to make this guided , meaning the missile would be required to hit a fixed GPS coordinate once launched. At a very high level, this requires three sub-systems to be added to the missile -

• Flight Computer: This includes IMUs, GPS sensors so that the missile knows its current location and orientation at all times. The peripheral electronics and battery packs are also part of this.
