Flight Data Engineer

Job Purpose

Monitor, process, and analyze flight data from aircraft systems within Vueling's operations according to regulatory standards and internal procedures to ensure flight safety, operational efficiency, and compliance.

Main Accountabilities

• Ensure continuous and reliable data transmission by maintaining a high rate of data reception (currently 99%), ensuring seamless data flow and system reliability.
• Convert binary data into a readable format for the flight data analysis system, enabling accurate and efficient data interpretation and analysis.
• Identify potential safety hazards, operational trends, and critical events that may require immediate attention or further investigation, ensuring proactive measures are in place to prevent incidents and ensure flight safety.
