Forklift Driver

Position Purpose

: To help us reach our goals we are looking for energetic, motivated individuals to join our team in Truro, NS in the role of a Forklift Driver. This is an expected full-time position that may have adjusted hours due to operational requirements.

Principle Accountabilities

Transporting raw materials to various machines across the plant.

Removing finished product from the various machines.

All transportation must be conducted in an orderly and safe manner.

Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience

Forklift license preferred, experience preferred

Ability to work 12-hour shifts.

Demonstrate ability to read (plant orders, production schedules) and write (record keeping, paperwork).

Math skills are also required when dealing with the large quantity of goods used and produced in the plant.
