Future Pilot Programme 2026

Overview

MAF UK is delighted to open applications for the 2026 intake of our Future Pilot Programme —a pathway created for individuals with a passion for mission aviation and a desire to serve some of the world’s most isolated communities.

This programme supports aspiring mission pilots as they progress toward the theoretical knowledge and practical flying experience required to obtain a Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL) and Command Instrument Rating (CIR) .

Successful trainees will then prepare for deployment to an overseas MAF programme in Africa or the Asia-Pacific region , where their skills will contribute directly to life-changing aviation ministry.

Eligibility: This scheme is open only to candidates who hold full, unrestricted rights to live and work in the UK . Applicants based outside the UK will be directed to the relevant MAF group for their region.
