Job IntroductionThe Highways Department at the Royal Borough of Greenwich is pleased to be advertising for a Highway Apprentice to join the team.The Highways Team in the Directorate of Communities Environment & Central is responsible for the maintenance of the public highway across the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The team effectively delivers work relating to the inspection and maintenance of carriageways, footways and street furniture in the Borough in accordance with the particular contracts / agreements and with all relevant statutory requirements and code of practice, maintaining safety, minimising inconvenience to highway users and protecting the structure of the highway.We are looking for someone with a keen interest in Civil Engineering and the construction industry, who is committed and eager to learn, and is motivated and self-motivated to deliver high quality work for a truly unique and exciting London borough.As a Royal Greenwich apprentice, there are many fantastic benefits...
