General Practitioner

Primary Purpose of the Role: 

To deliver high-quality, patient-centred primary healthcare services to individuals and families in the community, consistent with evidence-based clinical guidelines, professional standards, and the strategic objectives of Franklin Medical Centre.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

Conduct comprehensive medical consultations and manage acute, chronic, and preventative health care needs of patients.

Perform diagnostic examinations, order investigations, interpret results, and develop treatment plans within the scope of a general practice.

Perform minor medical procedures (e.g. wound care, suturing, skin lesion removal)

Work independently with nursing and administrative staff support

Refer patients to specialists or allied health professionals when clinically indicated.
