GIS Test Lead

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced GIS Test Lead to support a major GIS program within a large utilities environment. This role will lead end-to-end testing activities for GIS systems and their integrations with other enterprise platforms.

• Lead the overall GIS testing strategy, planning, and execution across multiple project phases.
• Develop and manage test plans, test cases, test scripts, and traceability matrices.
• Oversee functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Validate GIS data quality, network models, and spatial accuracy.
• Coordinate testing for integrations between GIS and utility systems such as OMS, ADMS, EAM, CIS, and mobile workforce solutions.
• Work closely with business SMEs, GIS analysts, developers, and vendors to define test scenarios and expected outcomes.
• Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
