Role Description

The role

As a Government Relations Officer, you will support the Government Relations team by contributing to the preparation, coordination and delivery of materials that underpin ASIC's engagement with Parliament and Government.


Working closely with senior leaders and subject matter experts across ASIC, you will assist in ensuring Parliamentary processes are well supported, information is accurate and timely, and governance standards are maintained.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Government Relations activities, including parliamentary matters, correspondence and briefings

  • Assisting with the preparation, drafting, formatting and quality assurance of materials for Parliamentary Committees, Hearings and Government briefings

  • Maintaining effective governance and record‑keeping practices to ensure information is accurate, complete and handled appropriately
