Role Description

Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies, and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a Grounds Laborer to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The Grounds Laborer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and landscaping tasks to ensure improved grounds, operational areas, and stormwater drainage systems are maintained in a neat and sightly appearance and in compliance with required standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine grounds maintenance operations including mowing, trimming, pruning, mulching, weeding, raking, planting, fertilizing, and watering for improved grounds and landscaped areas.

Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of stormwater drainage systems, ensuring they remain free of debris, blockages, and other obstructions that could disrupt proper water flow.
