About the Role
First Student is looking for a skilled Heavy Duty Technician to join our maintenance team in Rimbey. You’ll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing our fleet of school buses and other vehicles to ensure safe and reliable transportation for students.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on school buses and fleet vehicles (brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, etc.)
Conduct safety inspections and preventative maintenance
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools
Maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections
Ensure compliance with provincial and federal safety standards
