Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Job description

Prospero Teaching are looking for a HLTA to work at a Primary School near Ipswich starting from September 2026. The successful candidate will be covering lessons and also providing support to pupils in class and on a 1:1 basis.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

* Location – Ipswich, Suffolk
* Position – HLTA- Higher Level Teaching Assistant
* Contract or position start date – September 2026
* Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing booking
* Contract type – Long-Term
* Full time/part time – Full-Time
* Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £115 per day
* Hours – 8:30 am – 3:30pm : Mon – Fri

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

* HLTA qualification and experience
* GCSE English and Maths grade ‘C’
