Priory Infant School is seeking to appoint a committed, skilled, and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. This fixed-term position is for 32.5 hours per week (8:15am – 3:45pm, Monday to Friday), working 39 weeks per year (term time plus INSET days), in the first instance for one year. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school and helping our pupils achieve their very best.

About the Role

As an HLTA, you will:
Deliver high-quality learning activities, including leading whole-class teaching during teacher absence or PPA cover

Provide targeted interventions and support for pupils to raise attainment and progress

Create a positive, inclusive learning environment for all pupils, including those with additional needs

Promote independence, wellbeing, and engagement in learning
