Highway Maintenance Worker/Operator

Emcon Services Inc. is a proud Canadian company with over 30 years of success in interprovincial Road and Bridge Maintenance. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team in the Britt, Ontario Contract area of our Sudbury division.

Position: Seasonal Maintenance Operator

Reporting to the Road Superintendent, the Seasonal Maintenance Operator is responsible for:

1. Carrying out routine and non-routine summer and winter highway maintenance activities from designated patrol centers, including shift work and overtime as required.
2. Performing activities such as plowing, sanding, traffic control, emergency responses, highway surface and right-of-way maintenance, highway patrolling, shoulder grading, drainage maintenance, and more.
3. Completing or assisting with minor vehicle and equipment maintenance.
4. Other duties as assigned.
