Job Duties Job Duties 1. Qualified applicants will be required to teach in the traditional areas of Industrial Mechanics, as well as program specialty areas based on current program needs.
2. Ability to teach in other program areas is an asset.
3. Manage his/her classroom/lab/activities to ensure an optimum learning environment for students.
4. Follow any academic regulations and/or policies adopted by SaskPolytech and/or Saskatoon Campus.
5. Accommodate students with special learning needs.
6. Pursue professional development opportunities to keep current with industry and educational requirements.
7. Practice good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
8. Work cooperatively with program heads and colleagues in an interdependent “team” environment.
9. Prepare and use appropriate delivery methods for instructing courses as assigned.
