RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and implement field instrumentation. Involve the extensive inter-discipline co-ordination during design / engineering. Specify, select and purchase instrumentation and valves for gas processing equipment. Ensure that the instrumentation will be functional prior to their departure from the TDE shop. Co-ordinate the work between office, shop and provide the assistance during the construction and commissioning. Lead the Instrumentation activities on assigned project. Develop and review the P&IDs, alarm & trip set point list. Design, select and purchase instrument equipment for assigned projects. Perform the sizing calculations for the control valves, flow meters, PSVs, orifice plates, thermowells and level instruments.
