Role Description

 Black & McDonald Limited (Atlantic Region) is actively seeking an Intermediate Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic estimating team. This position reports directly to the Estimating Department Manager for Atlantic Canada, and will be working within the Estimating Department located at 60 Cutler Avenue, Dartmouth, NS. The position involves working on a full range of projects which would include commercial, government, industrial and institutional markets. 
 Responsibilities include:
 Developing medium to large sized electrical estimates, which may be stand-alone or a component of a multi-discipline proposal,
 Reviewing tender documents to determine project requirements,
 Seeking clarification on missing/incomplete information and monitor for scope change during the estimating period,
 Performing pre-bid site visits to collect important information for estimate development,
