Interment Services Specialist II

Maintains overall grounds care at a cemetery or funeral home location(s). Performs basic tasks associated with setting up funeral services, helping to open/close burials, install memorials, and perform maintenance duties.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Determines if location of interments, entombments or inurnments are accurate, complying with verification procedures.
+ Considers location of markers and nearby coping. Assesses whether temporary movement of the coping is needed and ensures materials are not damaged.
+ Sets, installs, and assembles foundations, memorials, and markers including granite and bronze markers.
+ Able to perform backfill and tamping duties for interments and cremains safely using tools to create a tidy appearance at the site
