Role Description

Duties Leading weekly labs and attending TA meetings. Grading assignments and exams. Possibly holding office hours or monitoring the online discussion boardMust be available in-person at least 2 days (ideally 3-4 days) per week during regular business/working hours for practicals/labs/tutorials/lectures/office hours. Teaching Assistants must be available evenings and weekends (online) when assigned to manage the discussion boards, especially close to assessment deadlines. Teaching Assistants will need to run and manage labs/practicals, office hours, and even assist/support instructors in teaching active learning lectures in-person at UTM. Should be comfortable generating CSC148 related content and questions for assessments (including tests and examinations) and for extra-help problems. Lab TAs and Lecture TAs are expected to adequately prepare before each lab or lecture session.
