**Job Description**

Ironworker Rigger:

+ Align, level, and anchor cranes and equipment.
+ Select gear, shackles, and cables according to load size and work schedule.
+ Assemble and install supporting structures, rigging, hoist, and pulling gear.
+ Attach loads to rigging.
+ Connect pulleys and blocks to overhead structures.
+ Signal or give verbal directions to workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and materials.
+ Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure machine is functioning properly.
