IT Systems Engineer Operations – Hybrid Storage & Cloud (m/w/d)

Your mission

As part of our Operations team, you will serve as the backbone for data-intensive applications. We operate a hybrid infrastructure: high-availability enterprise storage meets modern software-defined storage solutions. You will ensure stability, scale our customers’ environments, and drive automation—all within an environment where data confidentiality is paramount.

• Ensuring Operations: Administration and troubleshooting of our storage infrastructure (NetApp MetroCluster and Ceph / Rook).
• Cloud Integration: Provisioning storage services for Kubernetes and OpenStack (Manila & Swift).
• Automation: Continuous optimization of operational processes using Ansible (Infrastructure as Code).
• Service continuity: Participating in a rotating on-call schedule (up to one week per month) to ensure the high availability of our systems.
