Role Description

Position Overview
The Lab Technician reports to the manager of Technical Service Hot Melt Portugal and, under guidance, performs tests, trials, and records related to product development, new raw material evaluation, and application testing.
Additionally, the role may include calibrating and verifying department equipment, supporting customer (internal and external) technical service testing when needed, and providing technical assistance to production.
Primary duties
Prepare and manage laboratory samples for testing and development.
Conduct tests and trials for new products, improvements, and raw material evaluation, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Prepare and supply samples for customer testing purposes.
Analyze competitor products when required.
Calibrate and verify laboratory equipment, maintaining proper documentation.
