Lead Electrical Engineer

Location: Godalming, Surrey

Salary: £70k – £90k

Lead Electrical Engineer to join a highly technical engineering company delivering complex safety-critical systems.

Lead the Electrical Team while remaining hands-on, owning system architectures, reviewing designs, and ensuring compliance across projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of electrical engineers.
• Own electrical systems architecture and technical delivery.
• Oversee control panel and system-level design.
• Ensure compliance with functional safety standards.
• Support safety reviews.

Requirements:

• Strong background in industrial control systems.
• Experience with PLCs.
• Knowledge of functional safety.
• Comfortable fault-finding and working hands-on when required.
