Lead Platform Reliability Engineer

Within the Manulife / John Hancock Global Wealth & Asset Management (GWAM), the Platform Services group reports to the Director of Platform PaaS Services.The Lead Reliability Engineer (Director level but individual contributor) is responsible for managing our Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure PaaS, CI/CD pipeline, platform roadmaps to delivery, and accountable for platform efficiencies. Act as Subject Matter Expert on platform for internal clients and teams within the organization. Lead KPI development, and drive implementation of best practices. Champion adoption of standards around platform management, compliance, and security patterns.Optimizing product performance and in turn maximizing business value of the platform. Plan and lead platform evolutions, including upgrades and feature enhancements by working in collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors.Ownership of customer issues from inception to resolution.
