Learning and Development Officer

Overview

Title: Learning and Development Officer. The Learning & Development Officer is responsible for the implementation of the learning interventions within the assigned unit. The role ensures that learning interventions are designed according to the specific requirements of the individual learners within the assigned unit (whether by level, program type, function, or combination), thereby facilitating the development of the employees and their ability to contribute to the unit’s results.

Responsibilities

• Identifies learning and capability requirements of assigned unit(s) in line with organizational objectives and short- to medium-term workforce needs.
• Conducts learning needs analysis (LNA) following Global L&D guidelines and share insights with Regional L&D.
• Prepares and recommends annual learning plans, calendars, and budgets for assigned unit(s), programs, or employee levels.
