Role Description

We’re supporting primary schools in Barking & Dagenham with a dedicated SEND unit, and they’re looking for a warm, patient and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join their team. You’ll be working with pupils aged 3–11 with mild needs, making a real impact on their day-to-day school experience.
What you’ll be doing

Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs (academic, social, emotional or behavioural)
Working closely with teachers and SEND staff to deliver engaging, accessible learning
Helping children stay focused, confident and happy in class
Providing 1:1 or small-group support where needed
Building trusting, positive relationships with pupils, helping them feel safe and understood
