Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning within a successful primary school in South Shields.

This role will involve working closely with pupils in Upper Key Stage 2, supporting classroom learning and delivering targeted intervention programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils in Years 5 and 6
• Delivering literacy and numeracy interventions
• Supporting SATs preparation where appropriate
• Working alongside teaching staff to raise attainment
• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs
• Promoting positive learning behaviours
