As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and AHS policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.The GPRH Obstetrics Department consists of single room maternity care model which has 22 room; 18 Labour, Delivery and recovery rooms; 4 private room antepartum/postpartum rooms; 5 bed assessment/OB triage area. We have our own OR and Recovery room area imbedded in the unit. We care for patients who are low to high risk during the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods including patients requiring C-sections.
