Responsibilities
Set up umbrellas, loungers, and other pool furniture. Ensure that the pool furniture and area are clean and safe.
Warn of unsafe activities and enforce water safety policies and pool regulations
Provide first aid in the event of injury, rescue swimmers in danger or distress and administer Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or artificial respiration, if necessary
Assess conditions for safety and come up with an action plan for aquatics emergency
Inspect pool equipment, facilities and water to make sure they are usable and safe
Open and close the pool each day, depending on schedule and hours
