Role: Linux Administrator – VMware Specialist

• Install configure and administer Unix Linux servers primarily RHEL in production and nonproduction environments
• Manage and support VMware vSphere infrastructure including ESXi hosts vCenter Server clusters resource pools and virtual networking
• Perform system monitoring performance tuning and capacity planning for Unix Linux and VMware platforms
• Implement and maintain security hardening patching and compliance standards CIS STIG internal controls
• Troubleshoot complex hardware OS virtualization networking and storage issues including application to database connectivity problems
• Manage file systems storage allocations disk partitioning LVM configurations volume expansions and mountpoint restructuring
