LM837: Mgr Security

To provide supervision and training to FedEx’s security officers and contract guards in order to ensure the safety and security of FedEx property. To administer security programs for FedEx management, employee groups, and customers in country.

Responsibilities

• Selects, trains, develops, motivates, and provides supervision to contract guards.
• Ensures and oversees the appropriate response to all emergency and crisis situations.
• Conducts investigations into thefts, pilferage, acts of vandalism, misconduct, and other activities detrimental to the company, its employees, and its customers.
• Reviews Country, Station, Ramp, Hub, and office security practices and develops corrective action plans to ensure corporate and local compliance.
• Monitors, analyzes, and recommends ways to improve service, practices, reduce costs, and package losses.
