Locksmith

Purpose and Impact:Amentum has an opportunity for a full-time position in the role of a Locksmith to join their team at the Alice Springs Office. 

The Locksmith position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor with day-to-day activities overseen by the Senior Maintenance Officer You will perform the maintenance, repair and renovation of locks and keys for properties and associated facilities within the town of Alice Springs. Call outs may be required occasionally. 

Essential Responsibilities:  

Minimum Essential  

Desirable 

Certificate III in Locksmithing 

Training in appropriate safety procedures (, Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, Electrical Safety, Personal Protective Equipment, Lockout/Tagout, Working in Trenches etc.) 

Demonstrated 2 years minimum experience in locksmith industry 

Strategic with proven project management skills
