Program Background

SEAG2G provides resources to deepen and broaden relationships between Australian and Southeast Asian countries across four thematic priorities:

1.Climate change and energy transition

2.Education and skills

3.Sustainable agriculture and food security

4.Effective and inclusive public institutions

The two outcomes of SEAG2G include:

1.Broader and deeper partnerships between Australian and Southeast Asian government institutions in targeted areas of mutual interest.

2.Southeast Asia Government Entities improve policy and practice in identified thematic priority areas in support of economic and social development.
