Role Description

RINA is currently recruiting for a Machinery Plan Approval Engineer to join its office in Mumbai within the Middle East and India Marine Division.
Mission
This role focuses on performing detailed plan and design reviews, resolving issues related to conflicting design requirements, ensuring client requirements and applicable standards are met
Projects could include the approval of new building, conversion, and existing vessels and yachts.
Key Accountabilities
Review and approve drawings of machinery and related systems on ships, offshore units, and marine equipment, in compliance with Class Rules and Statutory Regulations, for new buildings, ships in service, and ship’s conversions.
Assist clients during the design and construction phase, providing guidance and support related to machinery and related systems.
