Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

A Maintenance Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment to join our West Cork based food processing client company . Permanent role within a modern automated facility.

ROLE:

* Assist with development and implementation of the preventative maintenance routine and manufacturing processes.

* Identify and implement continuous improvements in conjunction with the maintenance team.

* Apply good manufacturing policy (GMP) and take a proactive approach to ensuring all tasks are completed.

* Assist in the safe and efficient operation of maintenance systems.

* Maintenance of controls, sensors, pneumatics and electrics in a fast -paced production facility.

* Must be able to recognise, diagnose and solve common engineering problems related to production machinery.

* Participate in a team to help make the necessary improvements or repairs to process related issues in the production facilities.
