**Job Title**:Manager, Purchasing (Skyjack Mexico)
**Job Summary**:
The position will oversee the Purchasing Department being responsible for procurement management functions. A key focus being local sourcing, cost reduction opportunities and waste elimination. This position also directly overseas International Trades department, responsible for logistics, freight and customs (import/export) processes and procedures.
**Responsibility**
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the purchasing activities of the facility, including International Trades Department.
- Develop purchasing policies and procedures and control purchasing department budget
- Oversee Sourcing strategies ensuring alignment with Skyjack Global Purchasing strategies.
- Identify vendors for materials, equipment and supplies.
- Lead supplier Escalation calls.
- Evaluate cost and quality of goods or services.
