Manufacturing Engineer

**Objective of role:**

Drive a culture of operational excellence by designing and improving manufacturing processes that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. Champion proactive manufacturing initiatives aligned with 80/20 Business Practices and ITW Toolbox principles to simplify processes, strengthen quality, and ensure product delivery to maximize customer satisfaction.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Design and improve processes, equipment, and layouts with safety/ergonomics built in; partner with EHS for compliance.
+ Use 80/20 principles to prioritize actions and turn needs into executable plans (process/layout/tooling).
+ Drive simplification in work content, changeovers, routings, and material flow to reduce waste and variation.
+ Implement and sustain Standard Work, Visual Management, and 5S to stabilize performance and expose abnormalities fast.
