Manufacturing Engineer III

The Manufacturing Engineer evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.



**General Responsibilities**


+ Leads the implementation and maintenance of methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacturing or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies


+ Collaborates with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products


+ Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines


+ Leads records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations


+ Plans and designs manufacturing processes in an industrial plant
