Afternoon Shift (Monday to Thursday, 4:00pm – 2:00am)
About the Position The Manufacturing Engineering role is to be the liaison between Engineering and the Manufacturing teams with a focus on improving manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce costs as well as develop strategies for improving quality and reducing defects. This position requires the following proficiencies:
Using SolidWorks, add manufacturing details to existing drawings, and to new designs, to outline the optimal manufacturing process for welding, machining, electrical / mechanical assembly, and paint
Jig, fixture, part and process design using SolidWorks or AutoCAD, and coordinating release into production with ECN
Liaise with various internal and external groups to handle exceptions and constructively communicate resolution
